UPDATE FROM US

Dear Patients

Just a little update from us

You have probably already talked to our new reception staff who are learning the ropes during very difficult times. Bella, Lara, Renee and Callum.  A great bunch of people very dedicated and here to help you.

We were also lucky this year to have recruited  a new nurse, Amy.  If you had a chance to meet her, she is lovely.  She comes from a hospital background and is learning what it takes to be a practice nurse.  Julie is  sharing all her knowledge during training. Amy is doing a great job and we hope you guys get a chance to meet her at some stage.

Thanks to everyone for being so patient with our staff during this year

Farewell Dr Diya Bucktowar

Dear Patients

It is with sadness that we wish to inform you Dr Diya Bucktowar is leaving Thomas Street Family Medical Clinic on the 16th of September  in order to reassess her work life balance.

We would like to thank her for the seven years she dedicated her work life to Thomas Street and for being a great team member.

We wish her the very best of luck in her future.

RESULT FOLLOW UP

Dear Patients

As you may be aware we are now using HotDoc for a few different areas in our clinical system.  One of these areas is for follow up of results.  If you receive a text message requesting you to make an appointment with your doctor to discuss your results this is NOT urgent, please do not be alarmed.  All urgent results will be dealt with as usual with your doctor calling you directly.

If you would prefer to call the clinic to make this follow up appointment rather than use the HotDoc appointment online link then please feel free to do so.  Our receptionists will be happy to help.

HotDoc is being used in our clinic for the following

  • Appointment reminders
  • Online bookings
  • Follow up of tests results.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask reception  and they will be happy to help.

Thank you
